He led the automotive technology sector practice at a global bank and is passionate about bringing new technology and established businesses together. Sebastian is happiest when he is strapped into the latest vehicle prototype for a test drive.
He regrets that his daughter is too young to receive a driver's license, but excited that by the time she will be old enough, she may not need one anymore.
Laurent served as a senior advisor to the Renault Group and is the former CEO of Alpine Racing SAS and chairman of Alpine Racing Ltd. He previously served as Renault’s Chief Strategy Officer and was appointed CEO in 2021 with the Alpine name joining the Formula 1 grid ahead of the 2021 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season.
Laurent began his career at Renault in Paris before earning his MBA from Harvard Business School and joining Boston Consulting Group, where he worked in the New York office. As an automotive expert, he was a consultant on several strategic and operational assignments, working with major global automakers and parts suppliers. He covered the entire value chain from design to sales, including powertrain strategy, manufacturing, and supply chain.
In 2012, Laurent moved to Google, taking charge of developing commercial relations with major automotive industry companies, initially based in Paris for the Europe region, then in New York for the Americas region. He eventually served as the head of Google’s Global Auto Practice, before returning to Renault in February 2018. After a short period heading the Organization Department, Laurent was appointed as VP of Corporate Strategy and Business Development.
Laurent holds a Master of Science in Fluid Mechanics from ENSEEIHT (Toulouse) and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engines & Petroleum Products from IFP School.
Andreas Scheuer is a former German politician, who served on the federal level and was a member of the German Lower House of German Parliament (Bundestag) for over 20 years. During his tenure, he served as federal minister for Transportaiton and Digital Infrastructure, proir to that he served as General Secretary and Parliamentiary Secretary of State. For 12 years of his career, Andreas has served in various politcal leadership positions. During his ternure as federal minister, he focussed on topics such as Mobility, Logistics, Innovation Digitalisation as well as Air- and Space Travel. He championed a strategy which opened the country up to technology, while connecting several means of transportation through digitalisation and the applicaiton of connected technologies. Supporting start ups is close to his heart. Furthermore, Scheuer is acting as president of the Asia Bridge (Asienbrücke), an initiative and platfrom, which fosters and enables collaboration between dynamic countries in APAC and Europe.
Jem is a highly experienced business leader and technologist having previously served 18 years at Arm, leaving in 2021. He is a former Engineer and was an Arm Fellow holding multiple patents. Jem’s career moved into business management, and he became a GM first in Arm’s Media Processing Group which he helped found and delivered the world’s #1 shipping GPU. Then, he was founding GM of their AI/Machine Learning business. In addition to driving technology, he also worked on five acquisitions leading to building new businesses inside Arm and that gave him a taste for helping to build other new business. He is highly experienced in technical due diligence.
Jem is passionate about startups as the vector to wealth creation and believes founders need and deserve lots of help to develop them and their ideas.
Jem currently has a portfolio of non-executive and chair roles. He is chair of NAG, (numerical computing and HPC) and a non-executive director of BOW (robotics software), Cam AI (AI for mental health), Cambridge Future Tech (a venture builder) and Literal Labs (non-neural network AI).
Jem has an MA from Trinity College, Cambridge. Bizarrely, since he has worked in global industries for most of his life, he still lives in Cambridge. He dives, sails and flies gliders cross-country.
Christoph has extensive experience in the overlapping areas of defense, intelligence, and technology. He deployed as a civilian on behalf of the United States Department ofDefense to Iraq and Afghanistan, where he negotiated agreements between coalition troops, local stakeholders, and the international community.
He also trained US and coalition forces preparing for Middle East deployments. After leaving government service, he joined Palantir in 2013. There he specialized on growing Palantir's international government business, and successfully led new market entries across defense, intelligence, and law enforcement in various countries including Mexico, Poland, Germany, and Japan.
Christoph is originally from Freiburg, Germany and resides in London. He is an avid skier and enjoys gravel biking in the countryside on weekends.
As part of the leadership team at pan-European early stage VC Speedinvest, Valentin has worked closely with founders, co-investors and shareholders on investments, fundraisings, and growth-strategies.
During his time with Speedinvest, he worked on >100 investments across various verticals and investment stages. He became known for his close work with founders, addressing critical issues they were facing.Valentin also led the formation of several funds, building strong relationships in the VC and start-up ecosystem.
In his most recent role at Palantir, where he led commercial strategy as part of commercial leadership, he gained deep experience in scaling up SaaS businesses, specializing on B2B pricing and growth strategies.
In his spare time, Valentin enjoys unearthing obscure records and kite surfing. He is a citizen of the UK.

Bernd can look back on decades of management experience in the global automotive industry. His previous roles include management board member of Daimler Trucks and president of the German Automotive Industry Association (VDA).
Today he sits on the boards of various global automotive suppliers. He brings expertise in navigating OEM/Tier 1 organizations and enjoys building bridges to new technology.
Bernd is an industry enthusiast and is an active sector consultant, as well as contributing to policy making and industrial transformation on a national and international level.
Roger has spent two decades as a leader in technology, as an advisor to start-ups, and as a venture capital investor. He is an expert on AI and is a thought leader, lecturer, and advisor on disruption and strategic foresight.
He led the Technology sector practice at a global bank, launched its Silicon Valley practice, and spearheaded the creation of a Digital Corporate Finance studio.
Roger is an ardent supporter of venture-backed ecosystems both as a deep tech investor and advisor to Accelerators, Incubators & Venture Capital funds in Silicon Valley.
